Tea Towels

Dear Parents/Carers
You will shortly be receiving a tea towel which includes drawings or hand prints of the children at nursery.  These make fabulous gifts but are also great to keep as a reminder of PlayAway when children leave to move on to ‘Big’ School.
Your tea towel will be sent home for approval, and should you wish to keep it, please could you send a payment of £4.95 (either cash or cheque made payable toPlayaway Day Nursery).  You also have the option of ordering further towels, details of which are included in your pack.  If you do not wish to keep the tea towel, please just return it to nursery by the 8 July.  Please ensure that payment is made by the 15 July should you wish to keep your tea towel.
I hope you will enjoy these - we think they are amazing!!!!!

Kind regards
Dee

Bob and Wendy

Bob and Wendy

Building has now commenced on our PlayAway extension, and we hope to have the new room ready by the end of January 2010.

The new room will have space for 10 pre-school children, and has been designed in keeping with our beautiful Victorian building with lots of windows and a lantern on the roof to allow light to flood into the building.

Double doors will allow our pre-schoolers to ‘free-flow’ in and out of the building, choosing their own location during the day, in or out!

The children have been very excited by the building work, which has sparked off a pre-school project about building. Our lovely builders have helped with this by creating ‘peep-holes’ in the hoardings to allow the children to supervise the building, whilst safely away from any danger.

The builders have been named Bob and Wendy by the children, but the question on everyone’s minds is ‘which one is which?
