We hope that many of you will be able to attend. This will run from 6.30 - 8.30,

World Book Day - Thursday 3 March

without comments

Dear Parents/Carers

It is world book day on Thursday 3 March and as 2011 is the year of communication we would like to promote reading and the sharing of stories on this day.  Our top tip for communication in February is

“TALK WITH EVERY CHILD EVERY DAY” and what better way to do this than through stories and reading.

To celebrate this each section will be doing something a little different so please make a note of what your child will be doing and talk to them and help them choose what they would like to do.

BABIES - If you have a favourite story that you share with your child we would like children to come dressed as their (or your) favourite character.

TODDLERS - It is going to be DISNEY DAY in toddlers, so you can help your child dress as a favourite disney character.  Their favourite disney stories will be read during the day.

PRE-SCHOOL - It’s a” dress up in your favourite book character day” and the pre-school team ask that the children bring their book in with them so that the stories can be shared with everyone that day.

We look forward to having a day full of stories, role play and creative fun.

Kind regards
Dee

Choosing the right childcare for your children can be a difficult choice for first time parents

without comments

Choosing the right childcare for your children can be a difficult choice for first time parents and as local working parents of 4 children ourselves, we know how hard it can be to juggle work and family life. Our Funcare aim is to make the initial choice easy for you and then keep your lives uncomplicated by being open, approachable and flexible in everything we do.

Our parents are happy:

“We have been using Woodlands Day Nursery for over 10 years. All 3 of our children have enjoyed the wide variety of activities, loved the food and most importantly have been happy attending each day. We were comfortable leaving them in such a secure and caring environment. We could drop our children in the morning, knowing that they were in safe hands and didn’t have the hassle of organising food and nappies for them as these were all provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woodlands Day Nursery to others. Tracey Armstrong
