We are very proud to have a highly qualified professional and experienced team of child carers, and are committed to treating them well and to on-going training. Our aim is to have every member of our team:

All staff undergo regular training and are offered professional development courses in all areas of the curriculum, care for babies and special needs. Although we accept students on work experience placements they are fully supervised and are not included in the staff to child ratio.

"The senior management team and the staff have created an extremely welcoming and inclusive environment, in which to care for the children. The staff team are very friendly, helpful, highly motivated and committed to improvement. The staff are fully involved in planning, evaluating and developing practice, for example, through staff meetings, and appraisals. Staff have regular access to purposeful training, such as safeguarding children, food hygiene and first aid training. Following training courses staff use knowledge to enhance care provided and opportunities for the children."

"Children benefit from the enthusiasm of the staff who are experienced practitioners that work well together. The staff clearly know the children and their families very well, for example, they are fully aware of the children's backgrounds, home language, individual needs and parent's preferences."

"The nursery has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with enthusiastic, approachable staff, who work well together as a team promoting children's welfare and learning."

Team members will always be available at the beginning and end of your child’s session to exchange information with you about your child.

All children have designated key workers who will monitor your child's development and keep you updated with their progress at regular parent's evenings.

Records of progress are kept which follow your child throughout the nursery and then onto their first school!
